Jesus worked many other miracles
for his disciples, and not all of them are written in this book. But these
are written so that you will put your faith in Jesus as the Messiah and
the Son of God. If you have faith in him, you will have true life.
JOHN 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him. John said, ?Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is the One I was talking about when I said, ?A man will come after me, but he is greater than I am, because he was living before me.? 31 Even I did not know who he was, although I came baptizing with water so that the people of Israel would know who he is.? 32-33 Then John said, ?I saw the Spirit come down from heaven in the form of a dove and rest on him. Until then I did not know who the Christ was. But the God who sent me to baptize with water told me, ?You will see the Spirit come down and rest on a man; he is the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.? 34 I have seen this happen, and I tell you the truth: This man is the Son of God.? JOHN 4:25 The woman said, ?I know that the Messiah is coming.? (Messiah is the One called Christ.) ?When the Messiah comes, he will explain everything to us.? 26 Then Jesus said, ?I am he?I, the one talking to you.? Jesus Is God?s Son .JOHN 5:30. ?I can do nothing alone. I judge only the way I am told, so my judgment is fair. I don?t try to please myself, but I try to please the One who sent me. 31 ?If only I tell people about myself, what I say is not true. 32 But there is another who tells about me, and I know that the things he says about me are true. 33 ?You have sent people to John, and he has told you the truth. 34 It is not that I accept such human telling; I tell you this so you can be saved. 35 John was like a burning and shining lamp, and you were happy to enjoy his light for a while. 36 ?But I have a proof about myself that is greater than that of John. The things I do, which are the things my Father gave me to do, prove that the Father sent me. 37 And the Father himself who sent me has given proof about me. You have never heard his voice or seen what he looks like. 38 His teaching does not live in you, because you don?t believe in the One the Father sent. 39 You carefully study the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. They do in fact tell about me, 40 but you refuse to come to me to have that life. 41 ?I don?t need praise from people. 42 But I know you?I know that you don?t have God?s love in you. 43 I have come from my Father and speak for him, but you don?t accept me. But when another person comes, speaking only for himself, you will accept him. 44 You try to get praise from each other, but you do not try to get the praise that comes from the only God. So how can you believe? 45 Don?t think that I will stand before the Father and say you are wrong. The one who says you are wrong is Moses, the one you hoped would save you. 46 If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because Moses wrote about me. 47 But if you don?t believe what Moses wrote, how can you believe what I say?? JOHN 6:47.?How earnestly I tell you this?anyone who believes in me already has eternal life! Yes, I am the Bread of Life! When your fathers in the wilderness ate bread from the skies, they all died. But the Bread from heaven gives eternal life to everyone who eats it. I am that Living Bread that came down out of heaven. Anyone eating this Bread shall live forever; this Bread is my flesh given to redeem humanity.? JOHN 6:25.Jesus told her, ?I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again. 26He is given eternal life for believing in me and shall never perish. Do you believe this, Martha?? JOHN:21:24. That follower is the one who is telling these things and who has now written them down. We know that what he says is true. 25 There are many other things Jesus did. If every one of them were written down, I suppose the whole world would not be big enough for all the books that would be written. REVELATION 21:14. ?Happy are those who wash their robes so that they will receive the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside the city are the evil people, those who do evil magic, who sin sexually, who murder, who worship idols, and who love lies and tell lies. 16 ?I, Jesus, have sent my angel to tell you these things for the churches. I am the descendant from the family of David, and I am the bright morning star.? 17 The Spirit and the bride say, ?Come!? Let the one who hears this say, ?Come!? Let whoever is thirsty come; whoever wishes may have the water of life as a free gift. 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to these words, God will add to that person the disasters written about in this book. 19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away that one?s share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are written about in this book. 20 Jesus, the One who says these things are true, says, ?Yes, I am coming soon.? Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. |
